Our mission

At Cadenhead Services, we believe that doing business locally means investing in the local community.

We’re proud to serve families across Okaloosa County with dependable pest control, lawn care, and mosquito management — but our mission doesn’t stop at the door. Through our community initiative Okaloosa Read, we’re working to build stronger families by delivering free books to children from birth to age five.

Our Literacy Program

Okaloosa Read

We’ve partnered with Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library to create Okaloosa Read, a local book gifting program that mails one free, age-appropriate book every month to children starting in Crestview — and rolling it out to all of Okaloosa County.

Each time you schedule a service with us, a portion of that revenue goes directly toward funding this program. It costs just $2.25 per child per month — and together with our customers, we’re making a big impact for little learners.
