Termite Control in Milton, FL
Milton, the Santa Rosa County seat, sits along the Blackwater River — one of the cleanest blackwater rivers in the nation, but also a persistent source of the high ambient moisture that termites love. The river corridor, surrounding wetlands, and the dense pine and hardwood forests of the Blackwater State Forest create natural termite populations that pressure residential and commercial properties throughout the Milton area. Both subterranean and drywood termites are active in Milton.
Cadenhead Services has been the go-to termite protection company for Milton homeowners since 1983. We're local, we're licensed, and we've been doing this for over 40 years.
Milton's Termite Pressure
The Blackwater River floodplain maintains high soil moisture year-round, ideal for subterranean termite colony growth. Older homes throughout downtown Milton and established neighborhoods have had decades of exposure to termite pressure. Newer subdivisions in the Milton area are built on recently disturbed soils — a condition that attracts termite foragers. Properties near Pond Creek, Coldwater Creek, and other Milton waterways face particularly high pressure.
Our Milton Termite Services
Sentricon® Always Active
Continuous bait station protection installed around your home's perimeter. Monitors for termite activity 24/7 and eliminates colonies before they damage your structure. No disruption to your home during installation. Annual service keeps protection active.
Why Sentricon Instead of a Soil Barrier?
We don't trench or treat the soil around your foundation for termites. Sentricon® Always Active works by colony elimination: termites feed on the bait at monitoring stations and carry it back to the colony. There's no trenching or drilling around your foundation, and annual renewal keeps your Milton home under ongoing protection.
WDO Inspections
We provide Wood Destroying Organism inspection reports for real estate transactions throughout Santa Rosa County.
