It Started With a Phone Call to a Pest Control Guy in North Carolina
Back in 2022, we were looking for something different. Something that would make Cadenhead Services stand out — not just another pest control company with a forgettable radio jingle. We wanted something that felt like us.
That is when we found Rob Hardin, who goes by Rare of Breed. Rob is a songwriter and jingle creator based in North Carolina. But here is the part that sealed the deal: he is also a branch manager at a pest control company.
He knew exactly what we do. He knew the industry, the customers, the language. We did not have to explain what a Sentricon system was or why people call in a panic when they see a palmetto bug the size of a small car.
The Song: Stop Buggin
Rob is process was simple and collaborative. He starts with the instrumental — something catchy that sticks in your head. Then he layers in the lyrics, refines it, and delivers something you can actually use: 15 seconds, 30 seconds, full version.
The result was Stop Buggin — our official theme song. It is upbeat, memorable, and Rob brings a clean, wholesome energy to it that fits a family-owned company that has been serving Northwest Florida since 1983.
It is also on Apple Music, Spotify, and every major streaming platform — distributed through TuneCore, with Cadenhead Services, Inc. listed as a co-creator alongside Rare of Breed.
